Hi, my name is Rosie and I am a 10 year old Female Pug. I love attention and do well with other dogs. I have a good bit of energy left in me, and really enjoy going for nice leisurely walks every day. I was a rescue from a local shelter where I was scheduled to be put to sleep, and the people at BFFE just couldn't stand to see that be my fate. I am being fostered by Danny at BFFE, and I am a rescue of the F.A.R.M They know that us older pups, while we occasionally have some special needs, have so much left to offer the families in our lives. I may be older but I am also alot wiser than some of those foolish younger pups. I am not destructive nor am I a chewer. I don't fret when left alone and will just sleep the time away while you are gone; only to give you the most joyous "welcome home" greeting when you get back. I love to be loved on, and enjoy quiet evenings sitting with you watching t.v. I enjoy nice walks in the cooler evenings. I love to play dress up, and even have a few canine clothing items of my own! I do prefer to enjoy my meals on my own. I am working on this at BFFE, and while I am not thrilled with people or other dogs coming near my dish, I am respectful of the situation and I do deal with it. For this reason I would do best in home with older children only.

I am UTD on my vaccines, heart worm negative, I've recently had a dental and am in general good health. I am not spayed yet, but I will be prior to go to my new home, and I already have my surgery date scheduled. I may have some years on my body, but my heart is still young and full of love, and I have so much left to give a family that will appreciate the gift of a special geriatric canine. The vet has pronounced me to be in good health and there is no reason why I wouldn't have many years left of love and life to share with a special someone.
